Minutes:

Shirley Brown encouraged everyone to visit the Embracing Our Differences display at Sarasota Island Park.

The Superintendent and Board Members discussed the upcoming budget following the Board meeting. The proposed budget cuts are extremely difficult, especially when you consider the massive budget cuts the district has had to endure since 2007. Many critical positions and programs have been cut since 2007 and these cuts are no easier.  Although budgets were released to schools today, the Board will discuss the budget further at the April 16, 2013 Monthly Work Session.
